In viniculture, the grape variety or casta in Portuguese means a variety that produces grapes with specific or similar characteristics. Thus, in winemaking, the grape variety represents fragrances transmitted to the wine by the grapes from which it is made.
A high quality white-wine varietal with an expanding growing area. This is a highly productive grape variety originating wines of high quality with strong notes to the grape variety itself, harmonious and with a great flavour.
