Our grape varieties
In viniculture, the grape variety or casta in Portuguese means a variety that produces grapes with specific or similar characteristics. Thus, in winemaking, the grape variety represents fragrances transmitted to the wine by the grapes from which it is made.
A high quality white-wine varietal with an expanding growing area. This is a highly productive grape variety originating wines of high quality with strong notes to the grape variety itself, harmonious and with a great flavour.
A grape variety of quality with an expanding growing area. The wines from the Arinto grapes are characterised by a nose of the grape variety itself and a balanced and harmonious flavour.
White-wine variety of high quality. The growing area of this grape variety is small thus, producing an excellent wine which always corresponds to the highest standards of quality.
White-wine variety of quality with an ever increasing growing area and highly productive. The wines have a delicate nose and lightly accentuated flavour, but very tasty.
Red-wine varietal of quality, very productive and rustic. The wines have a ruby colour, acidic, strong fragrance and flavour to the grape variety itself.
Red-wine variety of quality with the highest expansion in the region and production yields. It is full-bodied wine, harmonious and tasty, of a red garnet colour.
